You never know where your impact will be felt. We know The Long Green Line has touched runners old and young, coaches have shown it to their teams and running
stores screen for their communities on a regular basis but who knew The Long Green Line‘s motivational messages would translate to the world of self-help. Maia Berens, a Life Coach in California, has written about The Long Green Line in her wonderful blog called All About Life Coaching. She says of the film, “It teaches by example the most basic of spiritual principles – that love is the most important experience . If you truly love someone, you see who they are. You do not have to make them over in your image or an image you want them to be. And that’s what Joe Newton’s success is all about.”
Maia Berens shares an interesting perspective that we don’t often hear. The original intent of The Long Green Line was to transcend the world of the sports documentary and make it’s influence felt in every heart. We’re excited to see that it’s seeping in.
